Terms & Conditions – Cut N Put

By accessing and using cutnput.com and our services, you (“Client,” “User,” or “You”) agree to the following terms:

1. Services

Cut N Put provides video editing and related creative services as described on our Site. Specific deliverables, timelines, and costs may vary based on the project.

2. User Responsibilities

  • You agree to provide accurate instructions, cue sheets, scripts, and creative assets for editing.

  • You confirm that all assets provided by you (e.g., music, footage, logos) are copyright-cleared or owned by you. Cut N Put is not liable for third-party copyright issues arising from user-provided materials.

3. Copyrights & Rights

  • All elements used by Cut N Put (such as stock music, graphics, or licensed assets) are rights-managed and cleared for public usage.

  • You retain full rights to the final outputs.

  • By default, Cut N Put may use finished projects for portfolio and promotional purposes (with proper acknowledgment and links). You may specifically request that your content not be used.

4. Turnaround Time

  • Standard turnaround time is 48 hours, starting only after all requirements and complete inputs have been submitted.

  • If inputs are incomplete, unclear, or non-optimal (e.g., missing cue sheets), the turnaround time will extend, and we will notify you of the new timeline in advance.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Refunds are available in line with the following conditions:

    • For multi-edit packs, the portion of the amount for projects already used will be deducted based on single-edit rates.

    • Ongoing projects will incur a 50% deduction of the project fee before refunds.

    • Unused portions will be refunded.

  • No refunds will be issued once the final deliverables have been provided.

6. Communication

Clients may communicate with their editor through email, chat, or video calls, as mutually agreed.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services.

  • We are not responsible for losses resulting from client delays, corrupted footage, or unlicensed materials provided by the client.

8. Payments

  • All payments must be completed in advance unless otherwise agreed.

  • Prices are subject to change, but confirmed projects will not be affected.

9. Force Majeure

Cut N Put shall not be held liable or deemed in breach of these Terms for delays, interruptions, or failure to deliver services resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These include (but are not limited to): natural disasters, acts of government, internet or power outages, strikes, labor disputes, pandemics, equipment failures, or any unforeseen technical issues. In such cases, timelines may be extended or projects rescheduled, and clients will be notified promptly.

10. Governing Law
